\nWhen it comes to music my heart belongs to all things house. For those of you who don’t know what house music is, it’s the best thing your little ears will hear, in my humble opinion. I got my first Ibiza summer mix when I was eight years old; my dad told me that when I grow up (aka graduate college) I would go for a summer. Well graduation is right around the corner and that Ibiza itch is here. But for now I make do with local shows, here in Los Angeles.\nYou can find me listening to all different genres of house, but a majority of the time deep house and future house is playing. When house first came onto the seen I wasn’t even a thought, as my mother would like to say. However, it has prevailed even after many people said it wouldn’t make it after its first year, and thank god it did or I might have gotten stuck listening to Krewella, barf. With that being said remember house music, is not the mainstream junk you can hear at the Sahara tent at Coachella. If house is what you want then look to Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, and local clubs that feature house DJs.\nHouse music has grown so much in the past few years. It’s really exciting to see it go from being extremely underground to something a little bit more accessible to everyone. If you have Sirius XM in your car I suggest tuning it to BPM or Electric Area, both are good sources for electronic dance music, with touches of house. If you are like me and can only listen to the radio for so long then I suggest creating a soundcloud or beatport account. I find most of my house music on soundcloud, and occasionally artists will give you free downloads, so you can stick it to itunes rising prices.\nThis week you can find me listening to this playlist I created for all you lovelies on soundcloud:\n\nSass and Kisses, Hailey\nRemember always stay UNTZING!
